I'm quite interested in this rod for general float fishing - trotting a stick, fishing a waggler, etc - for roach, chub, perch, etc. I can get one for £99 (RRP £175). It looks nice and light, which is a bonus when holding a rod all day, and should complement the centrepin Santa's bringing me in a few weeks.

Has anyone used one and have any comments/info that would be useful to know before I take the plunge? smile.gif

An excellent piece of kit for the style of fishing you describe. Go for it. smile.gif

It looks excellent for the price but I'm wondering if it's a little on the stiff side as it's so slim and light?

Do you reckon it'll handle a 10lb chub? cool.gif

That's OK then - just as long as it doesn't lock up with any REALLY big fish tongue.gif

Has no-one got any criticisms of this rod? Can it really be that light and crisp with no downsides?
