Quick question...has anyone been catching any Bass this month, particularly in Sussex?

Just wondered if it's worth a bash spinning or not this month here in Sussex.

I've caught bass throughout the winter when fishing a worm on the bottom, but I have a theory that when the water bcomes colder, they switch from active chase predator mode to scavanger mode, saving energy by poking around looking for crabs etc.

I've never had much success with spinning for bass after Octoberish, until the following late April/Mayish.

Any pics of the 13lb fish? Well done to whoever caught and returned such a lovely WINTER bass.
