Bought one direct on e-bay from America. £15.86 for one, including all the extras! They have been going for more than double that on E.Bay UK! Very good value, for a knockabout reel. Okay, bit of pressed metal, hardly top quality, but it works, and seemingly pretty well too. So Ferrett, if you still want one go to America!

Is this the Russian Osprey? A friend of mine sells them on ebay. There is also a centrepin made in Canada called an Osprey.

How do you like the reel? I didn't think it was a bad reel for the how little it costs. I gave him the Link to the site. He's looked at it but I don't thinkhe's posted on it yet.

Straight out of the box it seems pretty darn good, functional bit of kit, especially for the money. I'm not sure that long term durability is a strong selling point but for the price its blessed brillient.
