Sorry Yakity - yak but where are you looking its a rib pilot is sat at front of boat on the seat in the middle of the boat, passengers are sat on the side of the rid holding the side handrails and the guy at the back is holding the rear seat handle. Part of the course is that before starting off or accelerating you say "every one secure" and all crew must reply before moving off.

Fleetwood just up the coast from our fishing club at Cleavelys http://www.wyreboatangling.com/fishing/index.php we launched on the other side of the river wyre at Knott end slipway they tend to launch off the side of the slip like this wavelengthtraining.co.uk/launch...t_knott_end.htm I think I'll stick to the usual method and keep on replacing the brake linnings.

Have a go here, are you confident or do you need to swat up on your sea safety or take the RYA courses if you have not already done so http://www.rnli.org.uk/interact.asp
