I bought one of these 3 bulb LED torches and I suggest everyone buys one, even if you don't have a nokia phone. I suggest you wind it up for about 4 minutes before you turn it for the first time but after that, a 1-2 minute wind is all it needs to operate at full beam for half an hour or so. It's excellent for the cash and it might just save your life one day because you can half depress the button for doing an SOS or a full-on Morse conversation, if you're that bloody smart.
I was very sceptical about it when my mum told me about it but it really does what it 'says on the tin'. Even at that, it's always handy to have about, if you never use it for fishing.

I'd give it 7/10 only because it's a little tacky looking and bulky but it's a torch after all. It's not there to win prizes for beauty.

i have a few of these (but without the phone charger bit) and they're really quite comoftable to hold ( the person i care for has one,and finds that even with arthritis can operate it quite well as it sits well in the hand without the need to grip firmly the button is operated via the thumb and is placed well and the winding handle's knob is also easily gripped and operated.I got ours from Lidl's (£4.99) & audi's (£3.99) but these are the standard versions Argos was selling the deluxe version with the phone charger + adaptors (£7.99) i was going to get one last year for fishing but not sure if they still stock it in the new catologue as it asn't on the online store.the ones we have have been excellent .one is a gordy silver and the other a nice tastefull black and gray (mine).i would certainly consider one of those above (1+1 1/2 price deal) would make them very cost effective

andy showed me this last sunday and i got to say im prety impressed with it, ive always been a fan of winding things up to give them power, radio's torches, tv's, phone chargers. the list will be endless and the guy who thought it up must be earning a fortune and i think he made the first radio windup in his hut.
