Were you catching on boned kipper?!

you reckon the Sea Trout run is over then Sultz?.

Matt, I got out from Auchmithie for an hour or so this afternoon. No cod but plenty of fat 12" saithe around. They were well up off the bottom though; was only getting them on the drop and retrieve. Lost a ton of rigs; that ground just south of the harbour is well rough. Felt right at home! biggrin.gif

ye sea trout run is ending now but still the odd 1 about.
flounders were tiny crabs were bigger thank god i never had any.
and always up for a boat trip only at weekends though back to work now.
jaffa should have tried north just at the piont that sticks out.
also just straight from harbour. used to fish that area loads of times but if the slightest east wind the fishing goes off

Baited and unbaited feathers. Tried squid, mussel, and some very old peeler and razor. A bit of tinfoil would have done for the saithe though......

Not sure what Im working then but should be ok. Hopefully the cod will be on the feed smile.gif , water was certainly clear a few hundred yards off.
