I have just complained about the blatant misuse of the above mentioned section. if you have a look, there are two postings from the same person. The angling club link does not work. There are however, links to goods on e-bay, selling fishing tackle, a link to an advert for charter fishing, and a strange link complaining about a loan company.
How are these postings non-commercial?

I shall be expecting an Email from the boss then. Not to worry. Sorry if my actions have offended anyone else here.

Is this really an issue for debate within the sea fishing section???

seeing as this is the first person to complain i dont think you need to worry mate. you've got like 3000+ posts so i dont think anyone will question you as you seem to be a very regular poster.

How can it not be an issue for the sea fishing forum, when you are selling sea fishing tackle and advertising a charter boat in a non-commercial section?

I think this is one of those occasions where a private message would have sufficed??
Yes the inclusion is wrong perhpas?? BUT that is why moderators are employed!!
And no, this is NOT a subject I would personally like to see on this forum either.

Wasnt debating that Manokeft. Ill leave that for the boss to decide. My point is should you be posting topics about it within this forum. You have obviously done what you felt to be right by reporting it. Now why not just leave it to the guys in charge to sort out rather than this attempt at having me flogged in public. A bad choice of action on your part I feel.

Manofkent, if you look at the bottom of each post on every thread on anglersnet you will see an icon of a whistle, and the words "Report Post". This works very well as it sends a message to the Mods who may or may not be actively watching the forums at any particular time.

If a post is worth reporting then that is the best (and correct) way of doing it.

To me anything else seems like bitching.
