fished my local canal many times and have on occasion had some nice bream more by chance than anything that was planned on my part,my question is this,on rivers/lakes bream are said to roll at the surface on occasion, I have never witnessed this on the canal,do bream roll on the canal?

I spend a lot of time on the canals and must say it isn't something I see a lot of myself Kendo.

I fished the grand union canal every weekday for seven weeks once ,caught plenty saw none roll .

Fish the Rushall cut most weeks (only 100 yards or so from the front door)Bream do roll but it seems to me that they only roll in certain places at certain times.

My lad caught his first Bream last week end, all of 1lb 15oz, he's only 6 and it took him half an hour to stop shaking!
