 Went down to South Parade Pier last night. Amazing sight, hundreds, if not thousands of small bass feeding on fry or shrimps, all about 10 to 12 inches, or 25 to 30 cms, with a few going maybe 36 to 40 cms. I watched them for maybe half an hour, much to Mrs B's chagrin. Watched one angler trying to catch them with a lure, thankfully with no sucess. Tackle shop on the pier has just shut down so it needs someone to keep an eye on the kids and restuarant providers, otherwise it's good news for the future of the sport. biggrin.gif

I think most netters around here know exactly where the bass are. There will be a lot around for the next few months, the good thing is the size of the fish in the Autumn shoals get bigger every year so they are getting fun to catch on light tackle.
