Pass along all you make from this batch to mates in the UK. I'm good on snatcher-lures for a while. No chance to try the ones I have until late March so put your new creations where they will do the most good.

edit note: picture in a lower/later post here

What I wuz gonna pm you wuz that I got hooks and floating/popping heads at BassPro today. They haven't gotten their weeks stock in so the heads are either white (1 pkt) or purple (2 pkts) but there is always paint. Going in the post tomorrow or Wednesday and headed your way along with a packet of strangely shaped hooks in 3/0 and another in 4/0.

I'm not positive the heads will have enough floatation to work as you want but they do have a nice concave surface to make the lure Pop nicely so meybe you wind up with the popper head and a small piece of other floatation just behind it. I dunno.

Got your hooks this morning Newt - cheers. When I get your popper stuff will knock up a few and post them back. Any preference as to colour?
Must dash off to work now.

Snatcher - this is the latest batch that will be headed your way. The bottom small hooks are for Budgie but the larger ones (pack of each size) and the heads (pack of white and two of purple) will be in the post to you.

Note that the picture is somewhat larger than life so I put in US coins for comparison. Surely someone has some US coins and can say what UK coins are of similar size.

The apparent rust/discoloration on the hooks is purely an artifact of the picture taking. Flash did some strange things.

and another shot of the #8 for size comparison
