Anyone care to help this site visitor? Whilst i would have thought year round angling is allowed, they would still need rod licences, wouldn't they?

We have a small moat with a few carp in it.

Can you tell us whether there is a specific season for fishing in these conditions or whether fishing can carry on all year round.

If they own the moat then it is entirely up to them.

Elizabeth (whoops what a givaway smile.gif ) So long as you hold a current fishing licence from the EA, then you can fish in your moat all of the year round.

True but you still need a licence even to fish your own pond
