Has anyone any experience of setting up and eccommerce site ?

How easy is it in comparison to installing a forum or something similar ?

I recently tried to install oscommerce on my site and had real problems. Its put me off but Im hoping it was just a clash with the software and the hosting.

Im sure someone once told me that oscommerce was easy to set up, but the problems I encountered were non stop.

Ill try install cubecart and see how it goes.

I've used OSCommerce and eventually had a working site.

Nah - it's a very cheap mod from that link I gave you above. I also bought one other cheap mod that makes it automatically UK only, which is easier for me.

I like it It suits my needs perfectly - I wanted a cart that worked, was easy to set up, kept track of stock balances and accepted PayPal.

Yes your right its easy to install. I installed it in less than 5 mins. It looks easy to edit and build a catalogue and it even tells you to change settings when needed. I like this one thank you.

Now have you any ideas how to get the Wholesalers I contacted to sell me some stock. They told me they dont deal with online shops, but I see plenty of online shops selling their stuff.
