If that's the cost of the reel, then how much will the rod cost?
Whilst it would be nice to have that sort of money to spend on a rod and reel set. It strikes me that some people have more money than sense crazy.gif. As a showcase reel, I'm sure it's awsome.

They should sort their chemistry out:

"Scratch it and the raw metal oxidizes in minutes."

"Because titanium is inert, nothing can rust it."

Unbelievable, we are having a discussion on a flemish fly fishing forum about the expense of flyfishing. All are saying it is rather cheap, but when I see the gear and the amount of gear these guys have assembled over the years they spent fortunes, at least a good car!!! When i suggested that they were fooling themselves and that their wives weren't reading this anyways, the story changed a little ... Someone said : 'the only thing that frightens me is when I'm dead, my wife will be selling all the gear for the price I SAID I paid for it!' I just posted the link to this insane hardy reel. There is a retailer (a very good one as well) participating in the debate. I wonder if he sells this things? The thing sells 5000 Pounds sterling and 9.800 dollars ... on a US website. Amazing. You wouldn't even want to take a leak in a cantine somewhere without taking your rod with you, which wouldn't be comfortable at all. Anyways, tight lines with affordable gear!
