Booked to fish Alderney 28th april for 4 day's on the Lady Godiva out of Weymouth skipper is Dave Gibson. Anyone got any news of the area and what's been caught?.
I will post a report on my return but it would be nice for a bit of inside info as to what the fish are taking on.
Regards Martin.

Hi Martin.
Have you lost sight of the fact that whilst in the company of "my" talisman the 100 shillings is not a wager but instead an investment, and whlst we are on the subject please attend to every requirement of my friend in the manner to which he became so acustom whilst visiting the patio.
Cheers Martin and Mick
Best of luck on the trip

Free tuition on an all come all served basis on the patio followed by lobster curry (of course you had to earn an invite to the curry) sounds like something that you would read from a book intituled, “we happy few”It would have to be fiction of course?? wink.gif

Regards.

After years of catching cod commercially I can think of a lot of words to describe catching fish with a rod and line; “consistent” is not one of them.

Hi
you are not wrong old mate, probably followed by a listening in to men remenising about bumper hauls.
Do you remember Sunday night when Dave said that morning he had a shower then breakfast and Peter (the Dane) replied but you have only been here for two weeks, did you not shower befor you sailed!!
Or did we read that in a work of fiction?.
After a while of remenising It almost becomes like the favourate vidio you play over and over till it becomes so blured you are not sure wether you are watching or imagining it.
Good night, sleep well when you get off watch.
Charles
Message from the secretary, keep those poems flowing.very good!!
The famous curries are still produced on request, like the head chef, improving with age!!
best wishes
Mary
