Hi forum, please can someone you uses a mastery series gpx floater tell me what line rating to go for, I'm fishing with a Hardy's demon 9ft 5 weight,its just that i read a article on the line which said it was a little heavy so i don't know to go for a 4 weight or a 5 weight can anybody help please?

No expert,but theoritically a 5 weight rod should be able to cope with a six weight line etc etc etc,will just load the rod up faster.Think i would stick to the line rating-rather than possibly underload the rod with a four weight laugh.gif
