Okay, I've screwed up again....

A mate left it with me to sort out some river fishing for the 16th. I've been so wrapped up in work and a double eye infection (which I still have sad.gif ) that I haven't done anything about it.

Therefore, I'm looking for somewhere that probably offers day-tickets.

Not really fussed what we fish for.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Elton

The Waveney at Beccles is free fishing! The Waveney at Bungay is Bungay Cherry-Tree. John Wilsons Where to Fish in Norfolk & Suffolk is good!

Tons of advice on where and how to fish the rivers of Norfolk and Suffolk, silly boy .

Oh, you mean in the river! A few bream, the odd roach, the occasional carp, a few ruff types, might even catch a chub or a flounder. But bream could be good, the Waveney is a bream river. If you land on a shoal it could be good. Phone 'Angling Direct' at Beccles and ask for Ian, he knows that part of the river.

Get up to Bungay Elton. It is a good days pleasure fishing.

Either that or fish the Deben. Not sure but I think Woodbridge club has given up the rights to Wickham Market stretch. If so or if not there area some nice roach to just over the pound and perch to the same weight.

Given the choice I would and used to head for the Waveney !
