Well, here's a turnup for the books, a Moderator asking for help....!
 It's been over 20 years since I seriously went sea fishing, and now that I'm moderating the sea fishing forum I thought I should get back into the scene. After buying a beachcaster and two reels (!) I have now been invited to a beachfishing trip somewhere north of Withernsea on Sunday which means I'll miss the F1 Grand Prix at Indianapolis, the first American GP since the mid 80's. However, what I'd like to know is what fish are there at the moment, and which baits are working best? It's almost certain that I'll have some lugworm , but any other suggestions would be most welcome.... IT'S THE SECOND GP SINCE THE 80'S AS I AM NOT FROM THE AREA THAT YOU PLAN TO FISH I CAN ONLY GIVE YOU THE GENERAL BAIT FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR, 1ST - BIG BAITS 4-5 LUG UP THE SNOOD TIPPED OFF WITH SQIUD OR MACKERELL FOR THE COD, MUSSCLE AND COCKLE WILL WORK WELL ALSO, 2ND - IF YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON IT PEELER CRAB 3RD - THE GOOD OLD MACKEREL, DEPENDS ON YOUR TARGET FISH BUT CHUNKS WILL DO FOR WHITING AND STRIPS WILL ATTRACT MOST GOOD LUCK !!!! You are correct, Schumacher won last year's US GP....
Tomorrow I'll get some squid, mackerel & etc for the trip.
