Hi there,
I live in the fife area of scotland and am looking for other places that are not mega miles away from where i am.

For the past few years i have been fishing at Loch Glow in the cleish hills but gets a bit boring seeing the same scenery when im out and more to the point i dont know of anywhere else to go! does anyone know anywhere?

Also, I mainly course fish but have not long started to fly fish which i am pretty clueless about!
I have flies but have no idea what they are called and whats best to use for different waters etc, not sure if my casting is good or bad?? huh.gif !!

If anyone can give me tips or point me in the direction of someone / place that may be able to help.

Ideally i need an instructor but that costs money!! Unless any of you nice chaps on here have nothing better to do??!!

Hope to get some feedback from this as it will be much appreciated.
Cheers
Callum

Hello callum 1984
I fish in dumfries and galloway in southwest of scotland and the fishing is plentiful with some cracking lochs.
I'm a member of the stranraer angling assosiation which has a good range of fishing from wild brownies rainbows and some course fish.
We also have a choice of waters in the newton stewart area and the galloway forest parks. You can check these out on the internet..

Hi Callum
I am an hour or two north of you, up on Deeside but I come down your way to fish on a regular basis.
What sort of transport have you got and how far are you willing to travel?
I am a fly fisherman who is just getting in to coarse fishing so maybe we can help each other out smile.gif
I would send you my contact details but you don't have enough posts yet to use the PM system so contact will have to be like this for now.
Let me know where you are and we will see what we can arrange
Dave
