I've just bought a JW Avon quiver system, and was wondering if anyone knew what the rating was on the 3 supplied quiver tips ? they are colour coded, but theres no markings as to the rating, or leaflet etc to explain!

And they all seem about the same to me!

Mat, try holding the tips gently as close to the tip as you can and allow them to sag, the yellow will probably sag the furthest, this is the softest, then the green, then the red, which is the stiffest. I'm not sure of the ratings for them though.

Cheers, thats helpful! at least I have some idea now

I didn't really have time to play with it this morning, my 4 year old saw me slip out into the garden to set it up and have a little play, and came running out behind me shouting "My Go, My Go"

So all I really had time to do was quickly check it over and then put away ;-(

I made the yellow and orange about the same, which I made about 2.5oz test curve, maybe a fraction less. The green was a little bit stiffer. Like you I found them more similar than you'd expect.
