Torbay in winter?
At the western edge you`ve got Berry Head. Pollack should be in range also the odd cod or codling. At the other end you`ve Hopes nose. Although this mark is mainly a summer mark, good wrasse can still be caught in winter. Off the rocks on the eastern side of torquay marina congers can be found, but be sure to wear adequate boots. The rocks are not only slippery but hold giant pitfalls. As with most other beaches most of Torbay holds bass in the surf. Best fished for at daybreak or sunset, though this can be very hit an` miss.
