Hi Kev

I bought a few of these rods towards the end of last year. I have a pair of Specimen Rods 2.75 Tc with double legged rings. I use these for carp fishing. They have an excellent action and are built to a very high standard and look the business with there ultra slim build. The rings are built to handle braid with out any damage. I have been using braid on both these rods and the rings still look brand new with no marking.

Unfortunatly I have not caught any thing very big on them yet. I can't blame the rods for that. A 11lb Carp being the biggest fish so far. So they have not yet had a good work out to see how they would cope with a really big fish. Other anglers I have talked to on the bank who also have Beastmasters have informed me that they have performed well when landing big Carp, Pike and Cats. I hope to find out for myself if this is true.

I also have a medium Beastmaster feeder rod, which has seen a lot more action then the 2.75 Tc rods. I have been very impressed with this rod and it has coped well with a large assortment of different sized fish and feeders. The action on this rod is top notch and I would highly recommend this rod to other AN members.
