Hi all you sea yakkers smile.gif
Anybody out yaking then? I have had a few paddles over the last week or so, no fishing yet just testing my F/Finder!. Just ordered a cable to attach my gps (old magellan 315) to my matrix 17. Anybody done this? (or indeed any gps to FF) I am curious how it will work out. The demo on the FF looks good so hopefully should be ok!.

YY~~~~ you stopped playing tennis and fixed yer shoulder in time for the warm weather yet? Hope so!.

Simon (Everett)~~~~~ any plans to visit Cumbrian coast again yet? If so give us a shout if you fancy some company (someone to help haul in the huge cod etc biggrin.gif ) Well someone to moan to about lack of fish then!! biggrin.gif

Best regards ~~~~~Seadoodavid

Hi YY~~
A friend had the (cortozone is it?) injection in his arm, which kicked in after a few days. He went back to the doctor and asked for a shot in every other joint he had smile.gif He was well pleased with it!!. Good luck mate smile.gif

oLLy~~
Good luck with the lake fishing. Was there yesterday. The lake was eerily quiet without all the usual power boat activity, and the shops were extremely quiet (not like W/mere)Will be great for us who like to amble around in our yaks quietly, but the local economy is gonna be hit really hard I think. Most of the boating shops are having "sales" which is a bad sign really. Shame!.
All the best~~~~~~~~~~~SDD

Yak, mind if I ask you a personal question? What is wrong with your shoulder? I went to see the doc about my painful shoulder, he didn't specify exactly what it was (I think it is Bursitis - found this out off the internet)he said there was nothing he could do apart from an injection which he said was very effective (I didn't take him up on the offer). I assume he meant a cortozone injection.

Did the injection hurt much?
Are there any side effects or negative issues with cortozone injections?
Has it kicked in yet, is it any good?
How long does it last?

Hi Snatch,

I was looking at your babies on sat afternoon.
Moved some of them to another home, ready for thier first swim, they made a fuss at first, but Im sure they will get used to the idea.
They have put on weight, and are as pretty as ever.
I will pass on your love, and they send thiers to you biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hi Gobio.

Its actually my elbow thats giving the problems.I have what they call, Tennis Elbow.Problem with the tendons.
But what you have, sounds simular, if your Drs offering the injection, take it.
You will hear all the horror stories about the pain etc, it realy isnt that bad, honest.!!
It takes about 5 minutes to do.
My dr told me to have some strong pain killers before hand, and they did help.
With the Injection, they mix a local anaesthetic, stings a bit, but thats it.
To early to say if its done the trick, only had it done on Fri night.
Elbow still a bit painfull, and stiff, but better than it was.
No side effects, well, not for me anyhow.
Does it work ?,all the people Ive chatted to said it does.
Not sure how long it will last, but if the problem came back, I would go for it again.
Hope this helps you smile.gif
Now go ring your Doctor, and get yourself put right biggrin.gif , its not that bad.

Yes the cortizone works well. Had one in my elbow and shoulder in the last year or so.

The actual injections are nothing, honest, hardly felt a thing.

Mind you I am one tough ninja Geordie
