I'll be tucked up in bed, with an alarm set for a 3am start. I'm hoping for some hungry crucians too biggrin.gif

Christ...I live in Scotland and even I'm excited the way you lot are going on. You sound like a bunch of 6 year old orphans waiting on Santa coming... tongue.gif

3a.m. -- 6a.m.-- all night -- been there, done that, I now rise at about 8.00a.m. on the 16th June, have a damned good fry up , throw some stuff in a bag and go try and catch a few on floaters, usually start fishing about midday and then on until dark.

Can't remember the last time I blanked on opening day, but it was often touch and go on some of those early starts, I think I used to try too hard whereas now I just chill out completely and it all seems so much easier. smile.gif

Lovely smell of bream on the river this evening! Went by boat to a nearby pub for a half of Broadside! Went over a shoal on the way up river, ahhhhhhh, that aroma!
