This is a long shot - does anyone have any magazine articles on fishing out of Guernsey with a skipper called Dougal Lane on his boat 'Midnight Moon' (ex-trawler) or 'Midnight express'(43ft aquastar)? I have been told that he once had a competition with one of the Plymouth/Dartmouth/Weymouth skippers to see who could catch the most in 24 hours. Allegedly Dougal's boat won with 7000lb of fish. A photocopy of the article or even the original would be excellent, and it's likely to be from the early 1990's or before then.
