See your photo here

For the last two years there have been lots of thornies in the Thames Estuary. Most fish have come to herring with some caught on squid. There have been thornies caught all winter with the catches of codling but as spring has sprung their numbers have built up.
My mate matt and I caught 13 of them the weekbefore last up to 8lb most were around 5lb, but last weekwe only fished for 2 hours but caught 3 fish 2 of which were doubles.

Nice fish. Glad to see you got the picture posting thing sorted out.

Errr - I resized the picture smaller so it would be a little easier to work with for most forum users.

Thanx Newt, I will get better with practice, The pics on my yachty post are a tad large to, I will scale them down on ADOBE Photoe shop 7 next time.

Wurzel, bit fed up with catching roker now mate they are like catching a bin liner that nods every now n then, but nice to see so many.
One dingy angler had 36 in a day last spring.
They do eat nice though.
And Wurzel you will be glad to know that Matt and I only keep two fish per trip so most go back for you commercial guys to earn you livings with.
See us anglers are generouse to a fault.,.,
