Rumours are going round that the carp record has been broken ...
Heard it being discussed on tv and round my local tackle shop this week I think it is now 99 lb Is this right ? |

That's rumours for you - who can tell? My only weekly tv is Match of the Day,and Bigears didn't mention it; and here in switched-on Shropshire the reaction in my local tackle shop would probably be: "What, Mr Walker's record has been beaten at last?"

Had the scales been the right way up then presumably the fish would have weighed more, four or or five times more.
