Just listened to it whilst doing my accounts and not fishing because of heavy rain.

Well done Leon, a very good listen and recommended to all.

It was very apt for all small communities and how you can loose your soul for a few pennies more.

Doubt it would happen up here, just to far away for anyone except hardened AN anglers to get to.

Bob

PS Anyone wanting guidance on fishing in Stronsay contact me on ;-). You need to listen to the play to get this joke.

You still have a couple of days to listen to this play. Just follow Leon's link and click on the link for Monday. If you leave it till this coming Monday you will miss it.

There's a prog on BBC 4 tonight at 9 (Friday 22nd). All about the great man himself and his life. Promises to be good. Trust the Beeb to have it clash with 'Coast'

Big whoops,,,,,,,,, I'm operating on WST (Welsh Summer Time) and we don't have a Summer just a slightly drier Spring. So yes it is on at 10 BST and called 'The wrecking season' But  Pulp Fiction starts at the same time on Sky One so I'll have to fight (plead and whimper a bit anyway) with the Wife to watch it. Apologies.

I listened to "Hooked" first time around (a year or two back), and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just listened to it again, and enjoyed it all over again. Came close to capturing the essence of fishing - but then the late Nick Darke (the author - I think that was his name) used to be an angler.

First class drama. Well done BBC4.

I always have radio 4 on in the van as I spend hours sometimes on the road and can only listen to the music stations for a short time, they repeat them selves.
However I seem to have missed a realy good play, does anyone know if the whole play is on the listen again faciliterty.
