I'll try it, save me a fortune I reckon because I've never come out of a tackle shop with just my maggots.

a factor that has to be taken into consideration when buying bait through the post is how important that bait is to your next session?...have you ever seen a kilo of worms that have been left next to a post room radiator over night......uuuuhhhmmmmmmmm....theres that smell.....

Hmmm , 48 hr delivery.

And if you weren't there when they arrived, could 2 pints be packed to fit through a letterbox?

I suppose if they were flat packed somehow with just a minimum of air to keep them alive this might work. I've left a sealed plastic bag of maggots for 24 hrs by mistake before now, and they seemd to be dead but revived OK. But 48+ hrs? Would that work?
