SCOTLAND’S largest angling organisation has been accused of selling its green principles down the river after it emerged it has taken money from a corporate fish farming firm.

Yes, I often did.
The fish I caught were from the East Coast rivers and were generally unaffected by fish farming which takes place on the West.

Most of the fish farms on the West are Norwegian owned and the reason that they operate in Scotland is that they can get away with things that they can't get away with in Norway.

The Salmon fishing and particularly the migratory sea trout fishing is now pretty much non-existent on many of the West coast rivers where it was once prolific.

A nice adaptation of conditions will make almost any hypothesis agree with the phenomena. This will please the imagination, but does not advance our knowledge.
