I have some Cortland Spectron on my 6501c3 and my Emblem B/pit reel. It's good strong gear and I have no worries where deadbaiting is concerned. I just wonder about the lure fishing applications. It started off as moss green but its fading slowly but surely.
Is the colour of you lure fishing line that important? It seems petty visible to me but I'm looking down at it against a dark background. I assume the fish see against the sky.
Do the Pike care what colour you line is? Do you feel more confident using a dark/light line? Does anyone dye thier braid? You get my drift.
I'm just curious.
