Hi all,
I have twice now suffered from braid snapping at the knot, when using a strangulation type knot. I tie my knots properly and always moisten really well before tightening. Anyone else had this problem (with braid in general, or using strangulation knots specifically) ? On both occasions, I hooked a zoo creature in a weirpool and am mighty cheesed off about it and may have to return to mono - despite prefering the sensitivity of braid (not that I needed sensitivity for these bites, they damn well nearly pulled the Avon rod in, never mind around !) cheers -------------------- Jon Hedges
