I said I'd post some photos of the juvenile canary cichlids we've got in our cichlid tank, but I thought I'd just post a new video and some photographs of all the fish. We've got on breeding paid of canaries, five juveniles from the first spawning, a few fry from the second and the big female appears to have another mouthful of young. I'm hoping the Synodontis catfish will impose some population control soon.

(There's quite a lot of suspended matter because I've been adding more ocean rock and moving the existing rocks around. The filter will clear it by the morning)

Nice looking fish, Cichlids are allways more interesting then your standard community tank tropicals.

very nice fish.i have just shut down my marine tank and im thinking about going back to a Cichlid tank

nice looking fish and great rock formation cool.gif at first i thought the canarys where yellow labs ntill i saw the male stunning fish mate
