Hi all,
I have booked my first french trip next April to Jonchery in the Champagne region. I have never been carp fishing in France before, so any tips would be greatfully received, especially if you have fished Jonchery. Great site enjoy reading posts! Will,
Do what you do in the UK. I fish in France once or twice a year and have done for a dozen or more years. The fish in commercial waters are under the same pressure as UK waters. Don't be tempted to take tons of bait - I find 5Kg of boilies is about right for a week session (depending on fish activity etc). My approach is also not to put a big bed of bait in at the start - exactly the same as I would do in UK. Apart from that, just enjoy it ! Rob. -------------------- |
