no............no need to thin out or prune, but what you need to do is get paper bags around then, fastened lightly,so they can still breath.Dont put plastic, they will rot.
if not you will lose the lot to birds and wasps.
we have had no rain since early may,so we need to bag them only once. i can see you doing it more often as they are more likely to get wet.
im near to a wine area, and they have stated bagging there.....they get through MLLIONS of bags!

are they indoors they are far bigger than ours? ,we grow them for the leaves they shade the gable end of the house which acts as a huge radiator heating up even indoors

We leave most of our grapes for the birds...as we do with the currants, unreachable cherries ......it saves on bird-food costs...I mean someone has to keep the local cats favourite food happy.

I used to use the foot section of old stockings. They stretch to fit neatly and allow the fruit to breathe.

I have been known to, and on my arms as well! biggrin.gif I used to do a lot of diving where, occasionally, a lot of stinging jellyfish would invade. All you need to keep yourself free of stings is a layer as thin as ladies stockings so it wasn't unusual to walk along the beach and see guys pulling on panty hose before entering the water. With the water temperature at 28C, it was far more comfortable wearing them than full wet suits.
