This is definitely on ........
weather ideal ..... 'friendly meet'(not a comp and no fees etc) ..... Barney Wright, 'Goldsie' and 'Birdsnest' (England Ints) in attendance. 50 definites ...... flexible schedule .... 'brekkies' 8-30am - 10am 'Breakwater Cafe', Eastoke Corner (Sea Front turn left) ..... look for the row of shops past the Coastguard Lookout ..... turn right at the shops into Eastoke Car Park. Fishing approx 10-30am - 4-30pm. HW 3-00pm. Fish and Chips for lunch if you want (I'll get HID to collect monies and deliver! Food that is!) Pint in The Lifeboat Inn approx 5pm. Chance of a plaice! 1lb of rag + 1lb box of squid (or 3-4 calamaris only) should do you ..... looks like a good turnout. |

Good luck to all those who attend and well done to Ada and Greeny for pulling it all together, looks like there will be a good turn out. |

I'll be there - but not exactly on the beach - in Hayling bay or the Winners. Does that count?
That should guarantee good catches because plaice are usually where I'm not..... -------------------- East Hampshire Boat Anglers www.boat-angling.co.uk

That would normally be my philosophy Ada, unfortunately though I'm now paying for all those days I took off to go fishing over the last couple of months.
Having to work seven days a week at the momment to finish the job. |

Wish I could make it, but weather permitting, I'll be testing out the outboard after a major refurb, and hopefully getting a few fish as well.Best of luck to you all.

Post Meet Report
A very enjoyable day. Around 40 made it ....... the star had to be Miss H. Hill, aged 10, who caught a plaice and showed up many of the 'experts'. Perhaps 12 or so fish fish were landed ..... flounders and plaice. A good time was also had at 'brekkies' in The Breakwater Cafe' and in my 'spiritual home' (after Keith Arthur) at The Lifeboat Inn. Thanks to all those who came and/or made some contribution. Keep fishun' fer fun! |
