I arrived at the naa stretch of hambridge at around 7am, my phone was telling me it was -6, loverly and warm then!
I fished the stretch spending 10 to 15 minutes in each swim ledgering paste. As i was about to call it a day around 9am back in the first swim i fished the tip whipped round as i picked up the rod i made contact with the fish as it bolted into the tree crossing the river never to see the net.
Cursing i packed up and headed home to warm up!
