Cold, bright and sunny. River low - very low for mid Jan

2 Chub; 3lb 1oz & 1½lb. 1 Brownie 2½lb

A bright sparkly day though not ideal conditions - perseverance paid off - didn't get a bite until 1430 then 3 fish in half an hour from swims that appeared devoid of fish a couple of hours earlier (sun was off the water!)
