220lb Thresher

20 odd years ago when I caught this fish we though nothing about conservation, nobody did. Today when I look at this photo I wish I could turn the clock back and release it. I console myself with the thought that it probably wouldn't have survived. It was rolling over at the side of the boat after a 2½ Hr fight. When we brought it into the boat it never struggled just died almost straight away.
