Mackerel fishing on Whitby's west pier

Whitby's west pier is the one usually favoured by most anglers who come fishing at whitby. It is excellent for mackerel, pollock and coalfish in th summer months and then through winter the north east coast cod anglers use whitby piers to target the big north east coast cod.
