witch lake suffolk/norfolk catfish sturgeon

hi all i am new to the site, i am of fishing at witch lake for the big catfish has any one been there or give any advice on bait ect cheers mike :fishing1:

hi all i went to the lake and wot a session i had ! i had catfish 21lb to 115lb and it was a monster it is a very good fishery but not cheap

hi all i went to the lake and wot a session i had ! i had 19 sturgeon 59lb to 83lb and catfish 21lb to 115lb and it was a monster it is a very good fishery but not cheap



That sounds like some session. I did not think freshwater fish got that big in the UK!

Are you sure your scales are not in need of replacing? :D

I might be a bit out of touch but isn't the british catfish record under 70 lbs?

This wouldn't be Witch Pond, Norfolk County, Massachusetts USA would it?

If it was in Norfolk, UK, I had no idea we had fish that big here.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
