Never used it , but mite try it this year. On the subject of smelly baits, have you used CSL? Now that stuff stinks!!!

Every time I open up my fishing locker (paranoid that my gear will get nicked) I get a massive whiff if Scopex. I have concentrated ultrabaits version and Van den eye version.

Sweet sickley butterscotch smell.

 

Koi I have some of that Csl shellfish bait squirt from sensas. Now that does stink!!!!!!

 

Another one to try is sweetcorn soaked in syrup.

It is a very instant bait.
