A "cushy" bedchair?

My nephew has persuaded me to join his syndicate water this year which stocks monster carp and catfish and a few big pike, but it is a long session water so a bedchair is needed.

Now i have a well dodgy back(old rugby injury)and so i rarely session fish (more than24hr) at one time but with a french trip also on the horizon with him its time to invest.

THe problem is the harder the bedchair the worst it is (sorry! i am not whinging here just trying to clarify) i even bought a expensive fox chair 2 years ago the next day after fishing i was a cripple and in agony, i then swopped back to my Argos (£9-99) with some give and it was ok!!

The only option is to take a blow up lilo which is fine (after all it will be in the bivvy) but it is in contact with the ground which is not a good idea.

So any thoughts guys on a "cushy" bedchair(money no object when its my back)for an old rugby cripple!! wink.gif

I use one of the JRC models which is pretty good. I can only really suggest you take a look at them all in one of the bigger shops. With most you can adjust the elastic to make it softer if you need it but as they come from the factory should be OK. A little bit unorthodox is to take an inflatable mattress as well and put that on top of the bed chair.
