Ocean Pit part of Weybread Pits

Hi people .

Need some info if poss please on

The Ocean Pit (Part of Weybread Pits Complex) near Harleston, Norfolk/Suffolk border.

Anybody got any infomation on this place as all seems a little bit of a mystery.

Looked round lake on numerous occasions, seen very few fish (though being so big i can understand that), spoken to a few locals but get varying feedback. I understand it holds good pike, bream, tench & silvers but little info on carp (surely it must hold a head of carp  )

Is or has there been much evidence of carp in here, any tactics or hotspots known, wanna give this 100 acre water a good go this year so any help, opinion or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hello there mate i can let you know that there is a head of carp in the ocean pit with some very large although it is all kept a little bit secret, its worth a go if you dont mind blanking too much. Your best bet is prob to try and stumble into some of the anglers on there and see what you can get out of them, and also get a decent pair of walking boots.
