if you're interested i'll mail u some pics, just let me know (i'm not posting a pic here cos it all goes against eltons bandwith, so let me know what you're after and i''ll mail you)

any rapala countdowns?

talking of countdowns are the seawater versions less bouyant than the fresh water versions ,if they sink at 1 foot per second in fresh water it would sink less quick in salt water etc ,not being a lure type bloke and wanting to use them over obsticles its fairly important :)

Jeepster,

Posting a pic here doesn't effect my bandwidth one jot. Bandwidth is drawn from wherever the picture is hosted, not posted.

Feel free to use the go-fishing.org uploader, as that's what it's there for.

you got it colin, its the exage travel rod, 9 foot with a 2 foot extender. cant remember the casting weight and its chucking it down so i'm not going into the shed to find out!

the shimano website tells me it casts 20 - 50g

i've never really used it for spinning, i have a diawa 9 foot travel rod i've always preferred. i've used it just a few times for roving type barbel and river carp fishing. its in excellent, almost new condition and comes with a rod bag and protective tube, i'd be looking at £40 including postage
