The fact remains you offered me the DVDs postage free, which included sending me your address to post the cheque. The deal being done I sent you a courtesy message later to let you know the cheque was on its way - I sent it the next morning - how quick do you need it to be.

The deal being done you apparently then accepted for a better offer.

What is sad about this is instead of being honest about this, your lies would give the impression the Chris was enganged in a covert attempt to 'outbid' me after a deal is done. As it happens I have dealt with Chris before I know that he is a totally honest man, unlike you.

By the way I consider posting on 5 different forums simultaneously ridiculous - if you want to hold online auctions that's what ebay is for!

 

Anway it looks like we're done on this one!

You should have let me know on the day you received my email that you would have them because i had told chris if i didn't hear from you by the evening then he could have them

I agree that its non of my business, but it does concern me. Matthew comes over as a pretty decent sort of person, a bloke, that on the surface, is hard to dislike. I think that, probably quite unintentionally, you treated him badly. AN is a pretty decent forum, it concerns me when something goes sour. All it took was a p.m. or an e-mail. But since its non of my business I'll butt out!

Look Randall (And all INTERESTED PARTIES??) Please if it will lessen the problems let Mr Mathew have the DVD's that way wee will all be happy? I am really not that botherd as I can obtain them via the trade channel anyway and they may well be even cheaper to me??

My apologies for the way this has turned out,it seems like we are both partly to blame.

 

I have now told chris that he can have them so i have to stand by that if chris still wants them that is? if not then you can have them?

With hindsite I have just removed the post I made. However a ceratin person had BETTER be sure he actually knows what he is saying before he either makes another post OR he sends another email message.
