DRENNAN PIKE FLOAT RODS

Recommended Posts

And it wasn't me either!! I must be honest and say I AM a reporter of items which infringe eBays rules. But only for knobheads who have POOR feedback or have been rude when I have asked a question. So yours were quite safe Peter(Just in case you was wondering!) :D

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I don't know, Davy. I bought them to deadbait up on the Fens, thought them ideal for that sort of use. But to bang out a deadbait to the next county, no. These are sensitive rods, ideal for smaller waters like the Fens, canals and rivers. I can't see why a float rod should be any different to a deabait rod though. Could just be a marketing thing. They are rigged for fixed spool reels, otherwise I would keep them, dyed in the wool multi man now.

Matthew, keep an eye on them, especially in the last hour. There are a load of watchers who are probably leaving it to the last moment. Don't forget that you are £10.00 in credit!!

Davy, have just asked around. Apparently they are slightly lighter than the deadbait rod. The idea being that float control and making the line is easier and more effective.
