How do I go about joining a Fishing Club

Desperately want to join a club in kent, how do I go about it???

Try your local tackle shops first for deatils of local clubs - there must be some - even in Kent

 

If no joy there try searching the I-net for angling sites - there are loads, many of which list clubs and waters etc.

 

Otherwise join a decent club in Hertfordshire and enjoy witty repartie with some of the blokes on this BB.

Hi Vicky,

 

Phone if there's a number, or write. Ask how many members they have, which waters they control, the rules governing membership, how much it costs, etc.

 

Your best bet, though, would be to go to your local tackle shop and ask them for advice. It's in their interest to suggest a good club - after all, they want you to come back and buy tackle
