Its good to meet up with both old faces and new.A real thrill to see people enjoying the place and often catching fish of their dreams.

You're not likely to catch a lot of fish, but you've every chance of a personal best. In fact about 50% of the guests each year get one or more PBs.
Steve, thats an amazing statistic and it seems to happen year after year.

I've had a couple of e-mails recently about Wingham tactics. I'd suggest anyone coming has a look at this topic that has loads of useful advice: http://www.anglersne...l=wingham tench.
It sounds by the link it is time to get out my UN used 1996 Polaris float if i get the nod. I bought it back then to be trendy but never used it so I am looking forward to picking someone brains on that one. I was never a ground bait man but sprinkling bait little but often. The method feeder was to me the worst thing ever invented but I suppose I must move with the times. Believe it or not I still can’t get my head round plastic worms...has anyone seriously caught on these?
Looking forward to put names to faces too hopefully maybe even before then and see if i can find someone who likes a bit of zander talk...Lol

Hawk,
This link is the START of 48 pages of artifical worms.

Not the same "artificial" worms as Hawk means Phone. Ours are fished static instead of a natural earthworm/nightcrawler-
http://www.enterpris...edwormbuoy.html
They may look similar to your "worms" but are fished totally different.

I'm learning that! Still, expand your horizons. For example, "shad guts" are fished static as are many of these other products. See this Berkley page.
