Hi mate

no these are the latest nash ones.

Camo colour and made to look like fairy liquid tops.

They are identical and look really bling.

I can see I will not be able to fall asleep for a minute as they might just disappear.

As you know I fish many venues but the prospect of having another chat and meeting others is starting to really appeal to me.

I am normally a solitary chap happily going to venues and not speaking to anyone for 2 days.

Maybe that makes me a miserable old git. :D

There will be some very good anglers knocking about so plenty of people to talk fishing, tactics and general chit chat with and even though its going to be busy for Wingham its a big old site and its still a very quiet peaceful place to loose yourself in.

John, yes it does :P

It will be good to catch up.

PS: Don't forget to bling up those bottle tops, maybe a few diamante crystals :D

solar_globetrotter.gif Steve, I here what you say re banksticks. I have however got a solar globetrotter pod with 38 inch front legs when fully extended as per the attached piccy. Will this suffice or do you still suggest the single sticks? Stuart
It's not the meat on the legs........

Rik - yes it is mate and it no problem but you do realise I did say there no overwrap with it!

Thanks Andrew. I dont believe it was a problem last time without it. I also have the offer of a bivvy from Ian (JediBond) so either me or gary will use yours if that is ok? I assume Ians will have no overwrap either but I doubt it will be a big deal. I will have a sleeping bag with me and some warm clothes so heat shouldnt be an issue. At least if I have two then me and gary will have somewhere to keep us dry if nothing else. Just got to get a lend of a second bedchair for gary and then we will be all sorted minus some bobbins but I think budgie has that covered. I dont like to ask for lends of things but seems a bit overkill to buy a bivvy when it will only ever see the light of day at Wingham. If night fishing the river I only take a brolly and sit under that.

2010 Species Caught :

Also got some bobbins ( gardner margin indicators with long cords and split shot weights) will be made up at the weekend - and if anyone want to borrow some - let me know as as possible by next Monday evening please!

I will not be using mine, I can let you borrow x2 pairs of long sticks that I normaly use when fishing the coarse lake at Wingham.

That will be 3 of us targetting that elusuve 5lb Eel then. I have already bet Budge £5 i get the largest and he has said game on!. We could have a £15 pot here but watch out he may sneak a Greek note in there...

I shall be using my new Zandavan roll over arms for the first time. Which will mean i will be up 24/7 fiddling with them and not catch a damn thing!!

Thanks Andrew,

If you could get an overwrap that would be great. I am just starting to think about the biting insects and thinking that it may get uncomfortable if there are a lot about. I have just thought of the possibility of rain too so I am thinking that a bivvy that you can zip up may be essential to prevent both myself and all my gear getting wet. I have just asked Ian if his bivvy has an overwrap and if so then I will use his and gary can use one of yours if thats ok? If we cant zip them up then we may have an issue if we have bad weather and it may be worth finding another to lend that offers a bit more protection. Last year the weather was nice but we may not be so lucky this time round.
