Feeding Frenzy Imitation Bait Set

It's a handy little pack to have, Phone. The maggots are particularly good, imo. Fake baits came about, I believe, as a way of deterring nuisance fish that pick real baits to death too quickly, but a lot of anglers over here now use them all the time, either to tip off other baits or on their own.

Interesting, Steve. I'll give that a go.

Steve,

I too like that. Also, if you want a "long term" action out of your flavoring and want to go to the trouble of making your own foam bits I have a suggestion. I make "corn" that doesn't even look anything like corn other than it is about the same size. Works the same as a kernel though. Here's the secret. Use fully reticulated foam. Reticulated foam will hold as much as 8 times its own weight in liquids.

Ohh, reticulated foam sinks like a rock.

Just to let you lot know, if any of you know a double glazing man, those little squares of foam of different colours that keeps the panes of glass apart before they are fitted are brilliant, a pinkie sized piece will lift an 8 hook :secret: It has glue on one side and all that I do is coat that with groundbait or similar. It also holds a heck of a lot of flavour. :clap3:

THE MIND IS LIKE A PARACHUTE.
IT ONLY WORKS PROPERLY WHEN IT IS OPEN.
